Joint Projects
The preferred mode for collaboration is to stage joint projects.
We need to be involved in the science to maximize your success chances. Understanding the underlying biology and the key questions is essential to advise on the overall experimental strategy or design, to optimize our approach, to identify novel opportunities, and to build on prior knowledge of our collaborators for data analysis and interpretation.
This often results in long-term, large collaborative projects in which we participate as co-applicants. Examples are:
- Personalized Swiss Sepsis Study (PSSS): Detection and modelling of sepsis using machine learning to analyse continuous ICU monitoring, laboratory, microbiology, and -omics data for personalized sepsis management. (Funding: PHRT/SPHN)
- Targeting the brown fat - Personalized strategies for treatment of metabolism (Funding: PHRT)
- Metabolic programs of lymphatic endothelial cells and their disturbance in lymphedema (Funding: SNF Sinergia)
